Reducing Road Accidents

Bowland Maths (2008)

Reducing Road Accidents is a multi-lesson classroom project in which students act as "consultants" tasked with producing a road saftey plan for a small town. Materials include an interactive database of road accident records, an extensive teacher's guide and student handouts.

The students' "product" is a propsal in the form of a written report, poster or slideshow – some examples of these can be found in the assessment guide.
